This tree was very unusual.
It appears that the little "suckers" that don't usually get that large turned into big branches.
Along the way, we discovered a pretty, little bridge.
These spooky creatures are not just here for Halloween. According to the park manager, there are hundreds here all year around.
Monday was supposed to be our first day of job training, however, we are now rescheduled for 11/15. I guess as long as they are paying for our camp site, it doesn't matter...but Larry was counting on the income and we have now been delayed for an entire month. I guess I could get busy on my "homework" for the next assignment - The Lyndon Johnson Historic Park in Stonewall, TX. The suggested reading was delivered yesterday. I've not decided if the books will be more beneficial as reading material or as weights.
Hi, We were at the Historic Park and the LBJ Ranch in April of this year.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. We had a great guide at the ranch. Also visited the home and historic park in Johnson City. Camped at a great park just north of town. It even had bird blinds set up. Elaine
